Post by Splinter »

The last engine cleaner stuff I used said not to use over asphalt driveways, the foamy doesnt say.

Is it ok to use it on my driveway?

i would think that its okay to use on your driveway. if it gets on your driveway you might end up with some clean spots. If you're worried about it id just pull it into the street

Try one of those do-it-yourself car washes. The ones where you get the pressure wand to use. Then again, the engine might not like to start once its soaked. Just an idea.

If you're stuck with doing it in your driveway, try throwing down some soapy water on the driveway first. That should keep anything from sticking.

It's only illegal if you get caught.

Why would engine degreaser harm an asphalt driveway?

As do I. My engine always starts, but I get a nice CEL until it dries out
