my car ildes realy fast sometimes, like at 2k rpms, and i go to press the gas asuming it will go back down to normal after i rev it but when i rev it it will drop down and just die
im not realy sure were to start looking, it does not do it all the time but a good bit of it anyway, any advice would be helpfull

This may or may not be the problem, but....
I once had a similar problem with a 90. They use a different style IAC. Turned out to be the slide inside the solenoid of the IAC was corroded and not sliding properly. I believe this is from moisture.
To fix.
You can remove the top of the IAC by taking out the two screws on top. Then pull out the cylindrical piston, and buff it up so its shiny and then lube with some lightweight lubricant.
Reinstall, and see if you have the same problem.
Also be sure to reset the ECU.
