scooby sport muffler

so i have a scooby sport single tip muffler available to me for $250. for any wrx or sti. and its not used. 1. is it worth the money and two is it going to fit. im sure i will have to do a little fab work. but will it make it over everything er what? any input would be great

Unless you're looking for a name, a good Magnaflow or Dynomax can probably be had for less.

$250 for a muffler? that sounds pretty steep to me. you could get something else with that kind of money! :D

muffler shop quoted me something way cheaper for a magnaflow.

Get a straight pipe, or a $40 glasspak.

$250 is way too much to spend on something that's going to hurt performance

just get a magnaflow they sound great

i dont really need a new muffler. it was just offered to me from a buddy of mine.

+1 for magnaflow. There's a neat thread here where some guy in Europe posts all the sounds of exhausts on one page.

With the SS You're paying more for a name BUT if you like how it looks go for it. And will it hurt performance? Having a muffler at all hurts performance...
