How Much Coolant Do You Need?

Post by Faithbleed »

Hi All

Surprise, another noob question from me...

I want to flush and replace my coolant, but have never done it before and would like to know how much I will need to do the job?

Preston sells a pre-diluted (1 gallon, 3.78 Litre) coolant mix. Is this enough? I'd rather buy and mix my own, but don't want to go buying far more than I need.

How many Litres (or gallons) would I need of just the coolant (and a bit more for topping it off every now and again)?

Thanks

Just buy a gallon of straight coolant and a gallon of distilled water and mix as you add.
About 2 gallons
The ratio isn't super critical.
