Windshield "Reveal Molding" removal?

Post by frood »

Hey kids.

The top part of the rubber windshield "reveal molding" on the 93 wagon is bubbled up and looks like there's some rust in there. It's leaking water inside (quite a lot at times). My wife is not happy and therefore I need to go to code RED!

The parts sheet I have calls this:
PN 56023 AA030
"Upper Windshield Reveal Molding"

So, how do I remove it without destroying it? It looks like it might be attached to the outer A-pillar trim somehow.

Suggestions?

TIA,
Chris

More then likely you'll kill it. The A-piller molding can be removed via screws when you remove the rubber window molding. That top piece is clipped in there I think....

I was told by a guy replacing the window that sometimes they can reuse that piece, but more then likely it gets fubar'd when it gets taken out.
