My Cheeks Hurt

Post by LaureltheQueen »

Why might that be, you may ask... Well, Jake just called and informed me that my car is alive, well, and driving, sans an automatic transmission. The conversation went something like this.
"Hey, uh Laurel, your car's done."
"Really? So it moves and everything?
"Yeah, I drove it around for like ten miles."
"How is it?"
"Slow. You really need to do your exhaust and turn up the boost."

And he's working on figuring out the bizarre sound the car makes.

Anyway, my cheeks are sore because I literally can't stop smiling. I'm at work right now(on my lunchbreak currently) and I'm even telling customers about how excited I am.

I don't even know what to do here, I can't make it down to Tacoma to pick it up until tomorrow, but I'm ridiculously giddy. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight.

Thanks to Pacific Import Auto for making this possible!

Are they just doing a 4eat->5mt swap?

Or more?

Jake really is the man, then!

Laurel's car's almost like Dante's, but silver. I hope she's not doing it all just to impress that bahstid.

A 3.9 out of a rolled 92. :)

I doubt the subie will feel better. The BMW is just a little notchier than an STi, and feels much better.

It won't matter to me though, anything would feel good in that car, to me. 8)

them m3's have motor mounts made out of pancake batter. Easy to miss a shift, and they feel like junk.

If memory serves, that M3 has a short-shift kit.
