Welcome (and HOORAY!!) At last someone else in the UK!
Your car looks really good - I like the wheels. My car is here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robert.gri ... ubaru.html if you want to have a look. I think it came from your neck of the woods originally but don't know for sure.
This is a great board - I've learned absolutely loads about what you can and can't do to/with a Legacy.

So that's what the smell was - I thought the previous owner had some very anxious passengers
Seriously I bought it from a mate in Nottingham who had it for the last 4/5 years but he got it from Yorkshire somewhere.

No mods to my car at all - completely standard. Largely due to (1) lack of funding due to rebuild of Suzuki (2) wife only being through her driving test two years and insurance therefore being a bit steep and (3) my "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality.
Having had plenty of old cars, I'm not about to do anything to this one until I can afford to do most of the work that it's bound to need! In any case, my last car was a 1990 1.4 VX Astra merit estate so I'm still revelling in the luxury and performance!

yeah gt to agree the more brit owners that reply the better it will get for us to start regular meets maybe?or even arrange to meet at events rallycar day, goodwood ect.yahtzee very nice looking legacy l had the chance to buy some five spoke gp a speedlines in magnesium from carlisle wheel and tyre but he only had 3 althuogh they had all been turned down to a group n profile, instead l bought the seven spoke group a speedline tarmac wheels as used on the rothmans cars and have got a local firm to turn the back down to the right offset, the only problem now is tyres (they ain't cheap....245/40/17).........
