Post by Navigator »

Hi guys and gals, Nuwan (long time member here) and I finally competed in our first performance rally. Thought that you would all enjoy the pics as we had a blast with this car.

Like astronomical black holes the black hood is out of sight. 8)

The holes that you are seeing are acutally pins, they allow us to quickly secure our light pods on the car for night stages.

Here is a pic with them on the car.

In the main pic you can see where the pin goes throught and how the clip works.

As for the smiley faces here is a better pic .

No we wont be attending any US events this year. We are located near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is our first year out and due to work/vacation we will only be running 3 events. The next events we will be at are Galway-Cavendish Forest Rally (August) and Rally of Tall Pines (November) (both based in Ontario). If any of you will be at Targa Newfoundland, we will also be there as crew for Tean NQR. We would love to meet up with some fellow Legacy owners.

Yea its custom, noting special or light though. We used a NA hood and cut the opening for the hoodscoop so it sits directly over the intercooler. It really isnt pretty underneath but it works.

Thats on Nuwans to do list. We want to drop the weight of the car a little more. But still keep it safe as its a daily driver

The graphics are all vinyl courtesy of a friend, he's very good at it :)

I'd love to get out to Maine forest rally but the budget won't allow for that, hopfully next year. The car is still a daily driver and I don't think doing events so far away without a trailer is too wise at this point ;)

Thanks for the positive comments, every single bit of this car has been built by ourselves either in the driveway or garage... and that includes the paint job... lol ... I'll have to get some in process pics up soon.

Hotbits are doing great so far, handling is incredible with them either track, rally or street. I have the 1st gens since last year. This year everyone locally who is involved in rally or auto-x have been switching over to them from other brands.. (JIC/DMS etc..).
