I was up in toronto a few years ago...and was feeling really sick and miserable, I had some kind of flu or something, and I just wanted to get home quickly. I was in an exgf's impreza OBS and had my valentine one. I was going between 110-120mph, where the speed limit on the transcanada was 120kmh...so I figured if I got stopped I would pretend to be a stupid american and be like "yeh...i thought you guys had like some kind of frozen canadian autobahn here...120mph speed limits...crazy, the cold must be getting to you"...
Anyways, they had this guy with a laser speed unit set up on a tripod under a overpass, he was wearing head to toe snow camo, even a face mask. Then there were a half dozen cruisers down the road. I was in a pack of cars, passing, the valentine actually gave me incredible warning, and I almost locked them up, and was able to get down to fairly close to the limit before he hit me. Unfortunately, he saw the radar detector, and radio'd ahead. I tried to play it cool but he said for the third time that he knew I had it and was going to tear the car apart and be very upset...too bad I didn't have my broken passport withme, I could have given him that and kept my valentine. I really wish I still had the v1. damn fine machine.

First one was for 90 in a 55 in oregon.....don't get me started on oregon.....

I'm from Oregon and would love to know if my complaints about the cops here are the same as someone from another state.

Well....like I said....the cops harass the out of staters pretty much, they also harass truckers pretty bad. If they have two consecutive weigh stations and the truckers weigh in, they will calculate how long it was since the last weigh in, and calculate their speed. If they were speeding, they'll write them up. Not to mention you need a special permit to drive in oregon, and it's based on mileage....

As for me.....My beef with oregon is personal! Every time I have stepped foot in that god-forsaken state something bad has happened.

First time.....speeding ticket
Second time.....psycho girl that wouldn't stop calling me
Third time.....stupid freakin highway system in portland with shitty signs to the proper interstate caused me to get in an accident.

I don't dare step foot in that state again with my previous track record.
