oil squirters torque specs

Post by not8player »

Anyone has an idea of the torque spec for the EJ22T oil squirters? From what I gathered from searching the forum Loctite is a must for the oil squirters.

I am stuck reusing the original aluminum little washer, should I put a bit of sealant around the washers?

the torque spec is snug and then just a lil more. not much more than a single hand can turn with a ratchet... loctite i think is optional. i didnt use loctite. but a smal drop couldnt hurt... and i woulnt worry about putting sealant around the washers. if they leak which will only happen if you really really do something wrong, it will prolly just drop oil pressure. but youll never leak outside the motor

I would recomend the loctite, and make it red. They have been known to fall out. And you dont want to be losing oil pressure, especially there at the mains.
