ITS ALIVE/ quick question.

Post by azn2nr »

well josh @ cobb finaly agreed to look at my car while warning me that the issues may take a long time to solve. well a few hours later the car was running. there are still a few gremlins like non grounded power wires for gauge cluster lights (oil cel and temp) so the car will be oficaly finished in a few weeks.

this brings me to my next question. the car needs a respray or color change. i really want white but my painter is really against doing a color change because of cost. right now the color is 340 or teal iirc. not quite agean but not quite that really light blue many impreza's of old were.

in my search for paint i found that D-BASF has a teal color in their carizmatics line of paints. i absolutely love the finish of that paint line but have never seen the teal color on a car. i saw the megenta color they put on an rx7 at sema last year and it was absolutely crazy deep you could almost put your hand in it.

no one i have seen has rocked the teal color on a show quality car so should i try it???

pics!!!
so the paint is bad, or you just don't like it? I'd tend to stay with the factory color unless its just hideous.

i dont have pics of the car on the ground. the paint isnt bad but its chipped adn dented so after body work it will need a respray.

Any color that depth would look great. I'd even add some pearl to the clear coat. Bling
