So the time has come to choose.... :(

Post by gt2.5turbo »

So most of you have seen pics of my wagon, i really like it and love the way it looks. But i have come across two different sedans that i now own. One is a pretty fubared black 93 5spd sedan and is going to be parted the other is a white 93 5spd sedan with a body just as nice if not better than my wagon.....

So heres the thing, one has to go, one is going to stay. Do i keep the sedan or the wagon? If i keep the sedan everything that has been done to the wagon will go into the sedan and i will sell the wagon as a stock turbo wag with a 5spd swap. the money from whatever one i sell will go directly into the one i want to keep aka heads, turbo, exhaust or possibly a full motor swap is in the works....
another option ive been debating is to sell both and build a impreza GC or GF(the wagon) but i dont think i could leave the BC-BF legacys even though i absolutly love the imprezas, eveyone has one

i have been going back and forth for the last few weeks now and im having trouble deciding :( I would love to keep both but since im still in school and can only work part time i cant afford it.

What do you think i should do?

heres a like to the wagon pics for those who havent seen it:

the wagon does look great
and if the sedan has better paint/body why not take every thing from the wagon like you said and put it on the sedan.
unless you need the space from the wagon the sedan is lighter and handles better i would imagen too.

I voted to keep the wagon. You have an extremely nice turbo wagon, with a 5sp at that. As much as I personally like the sedans, I think you'd miss your wagon an awful lot.

yeah man, keep the wagon, even though I pretty much hate wagons...I love your car.

Plus, could you really sell it for a run of the mill Impreza?!?!

I already know I'm going to severely miss the 93 wagon when I have to move something big.

Keep the wagon.

its sooo hard to decide i mean i love the wag and all its capabilities but ive never actually had a sedan before and this is a perfect oppertunity to get a really nice one. i apreciate all the input and complements on the wagon reasures me that that car is/was headed in the right direction :) i have to decide by next week so we will see whats up.

So anyone interested in buying a 93 5spd sport sedan? or a 93 5spd turbo wagon? lol.... but seriously if you know someone that is looking for either or let me know :)

Keep Wagon. It's awesome.

Don't get a GC unless you really have the time and money and interest to do a swap. IMO, going from a turbo legacy to an NA Impreza will be dissapointing. I have both.
