Where to find studs.

Post by Tleg93 »

I'm swapping over an exhaust and other parts to my '91 and have a busted stud...again. The only one I could find locally to replace it is a damn expensive one at the stupid Subaru dealership. Can anyone help me find a source for inexpensive hardware such as studs and other screws, bolts etc. for the SS. I am having a headache searching for this stuff.

It's the stud(s) mounted on the turbo exhaust flange and the nuts that go with it as well. I also need a stud on the flange where the uppipe meets the turbo.

The turbo studs and uppipe studs are the same. They also have the same dimensions as studs used on many Toyota models, so many auto parts stores and hardware stores carry them loose, even if the people working there don't realize it.

See this thread for more info: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=18278

How soon do you need the hardware? If you email me your address and how many of each piece you need, I can get a few pieces on their way to you in a Priority Mail envelope; with any luck you'd have them by the weekend.
