anyone know a good (cheap) place to find a set of front axles /w boots, for a 97 2.5 GT, auto?

How cheap? Remanufactured ones with a lifetime warranty can be had from Autozone for like $59.

Make sure they are lifetime replacement ones. That is crucial..so next time they break, you can just pay labor instead of paying for new parts as well.boro wrote:w0rd, found em at Car quest $68.89 per axle!

or better yet do it yourself and get them replaced for free. Takes 45 min if that per side and is quite easy to do. Just jack the thing up, remove wheel, unstake and impact gun the spindle nut. remove 2 strut bolts, remove spring pin, remove shaft. Bam you just saved ~$100
