QUICK GUIDE ANY ONE??

Post by gza36 »

Ok so ive been reading ALOT! about things in the forum
i figured out that if i take out the snorkus i should not put the intake on my car...

Ok so i have a 93 subaru legacy (N/A) and non turbo
Im leaving next week to Nicaragua and my grandma donated me her car..which is the 93 subaru legacy...its stock and the engine has never been touched ..all i have on it is an exhaust!

So it doesnt sound so loud it has to be the snorkus..so i know that if i put an intake theres no need to take out the snorkus...

PLan 1
i was thinking of just taking out the snorkus but i really dont know how plus im going to a country where im sure i wont have many tools if some one can direct me to a turorial please!!

plan 2...
Buying an intake while im here in miami...so i heared i need a Maf adapter in order to adapt the intake...but where do i find the right Maf adapter??i took a pic of one but im not sure it will fit here it is
Image i went to pep boys and thats what they had... if thats not the correct one can some one display me a pic??

im sorry if im asking for to much but thank you for taking your time

There are more than one adapter out there, but it has to fit the MAF, and it's not likely that most parts stores or chains would have it. Any cone with the same ID as the adapter OD will work, yes.
