what clutch can i use?

Post by MRtuningCO »

ive searched around here and nasioc.

i need to find a good clutch for my 95 legacy L, but i dont want to go with an oem one because of the turbo. can i use a clutch from a SS? can i use a clutch from a wrx without using a wrx flywheel? i heard there is a difference in clutchs between the "pull" and "push" type of trannys.

No, you cant use anything for a turbo. That is, without changing tranny cases.

Doug highly recomends the kennedy 6-puck. you will probobly need the flywheel and pressure plate from a 2.5 NA.

Or, since you will probobly have to change your PP and FW anyway, you could go with an ACT kit.

OR if you are really woried about slipping, you could use the ACT pressure plate with a 6-puck disc.
