well my car has been clicking ever since we replaced the head gasket (like a over year ago) and after putting the head back on we ran it without the valve cover on just to see if it was oiling right, it wasnt. one of the tiny holes in the head that oils the cam and all that wasnt pumping oil, so we took a needle and stuck it in, and the oil started flowing good, so we went ahead and put the cover back on.
so now its about a year later and it is still ticking just a slight bit, it is most noticable during idle, and today i opened up the air dam while it was running to see what it might sound like with the snorkus off and i noticed a sort of winning, im not sure what it was at all, maybe a bearing on the idler pulley or something, and it got louder as i reved it
do you have any clues as to what it may be???
btw when i had the air dam opened up, it gives the car even more of a low rumble at idle and at 3500rpms it sound like its pissed off, it was getting to loud and my neighbors (old people) were home so i didnt go any higher than that, but it sounded bad ass, i just whish it would go like it sounds
