Legacy Twin-Turbo

Post by Splinter »

The thought just occured to me that, being Canadian, I am able to import Japanese cars that are older than 15 years. The further thought occurs, that because no one imports legacies, they are likely to be dirt cheap.

So, Im going to be contacting a few importers about bringing over a Legacy from Japan.

After doing some research, it looks like the 91-92 (cant get anything newer) Legacy RS is what Id want

Is this correct?

Yeah, and you can also probably find one in Australia too.

RHD must be cool with Canada, I saw a R32 Skyline with Alberta plates a few days ago.

Very cool, but those are still 1st-gen, and I don't know of any 1st-gen twin-turbo Legacies :)

they didn't start the Twin Turbo until the BD/BG Legacies...which came out in Japan in 1993.

An importer in Canada had, and might still have, a 1990 Legacy RS-R for like $3000 Canadian
