XT
I woulda offered him $250 and replaced the head gasket. As for the 4WD not working, those are pushbutton, and the most common problem I've run into with it is the vacuum line supplying the solenoids comes loose. I've got an 86 XT 2WD non turbo 5 speed, has 302k on the odo and runs like ass when it warms up, but as soon as I replace the clutch and the stripped hub, and probably some body work (dumbass used the fender as a grinding rail) it'll be up for sale
