Defroster Fixup?

Post by soloracer »

So my nifty new/old beater Subaru wagon has a minor issue I'd like to fix up before the cold weather returns and before I possibly tint the windows. The terminals where the defroster wiring plugs onto the window itself have both fallen off. They can't really be soldered back on the heat would likely crack the window. I think I need some from of conductive adhesive product to put the terminals back on. Any thoughts? The only possibility I've thought of is JB weld, I hear it has magical powers though I've never actually used it meself.

I will look this weekend, another forum also pointed out frostfighter.com which has a solution for everything defroster as well. I've been in a Home Depot home remedy frame of mind, it never occured to me that this was a common enough problem to have an actual commercial solution.
