As always Josh, the quality of your work is second to none.

Have you driven it yet?

That reminds me, what'dya end up using for an inline PCV filter?

Thanks guys! It's been a pain with lots of swearing :)

Yeah I've driven it around the block, and to get gas, but really haven't "driven it" "driven it". I'll be out of town this week, and am planning to drive it to the airport, so I'll get to put some miles on it this week, and probably will drive around next weekend.

From the initial drives, the power feels about the same with about 2 psi less boost, but it does feel like it pulls better at the top end. There is a touch more turbo lag, but it's really not too bad. I'll need to drive it some more to get a good feel.

I bought a lawnmower air filter, and cut out pieces to put in the tube.

Did you see these pics?
http://www.main.experiencetherave.com:8 ... es/td05/07

We'll see how they work out after some driving.

Hey Josh, another thing I noticed... Where did your air horns go?

They used to be mounted up right by your igniter right? No doubt they had to be moved for the AWIC.

If you mentioned this already, call me a n00b and tell me to search

Thanks for all the comments guys!

haha....the coffee cup mug....I was going to see if I could use that mug for the intake.....it didn't fit, and I believe that was the day I was really pissed off, and nothing was fitting right, so I was screwing around with the mug. It just fit so well.

The car looks great and your documentation trail looks great as well. Not sure what you do for work but if you ever wanted a job in rhode island I could get you one as the technical writer and documentation manager at my company ;)

Thanks for the comments guys! I appreciate them.

I really haven't done much to the car recently. I've been in a rut because it needs engine management before I can really do anything else.

Thanks for the job offer Mike :) I'm an mech engineer.

Yeah.....Out of my grad class....there's only a handful that I'd want to work with.....and yes, I too have worked with some that don't know squat.

I'd rather work with someone that has real-world experience & common sense then some book smart nerd that doesn't know his head from a hole in the ground.
