22-n/a needs power components

i need to build some power off a 2.2 n/a, what can i do if i have a block pulled out, like pistons, rods, crank even, cams, cam gears. what i need is manufacturers and ideas, the block is slightly damaged due to a con. pin. gone awol. but is family inheritance, and its' owner is my cousin of 13, who gets it after his license, i was to baby it till he could take it, but it croaked after 15min. of a 1500$ swap i paid for, the mechanic is getting sued, but the block needs to live, and to be reliable for some weekend rallying,!!!.
PLS. HELP He'll be so enthused.
