Man I gotta go to one of these events. D'they have em every year up there or do they move? We've got a dirt circle track in Elko... anyone up for taking it over with Legacies? (Damn it, isn't it "i" before "e" but except after "c"? Legaceis? Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ (I'm sorry, JTDC -- if this didn't belong in the ashtray I would submit that one to the technical acronym sticky)
Legacys still doesn't look as right to me as Legacies, grammar rules notwithstanding. Or am I forgetting some other strange unworldly English grammar rule here? Laurel? Or do you just do spelling?
I'm going to stop now.

The correct word is Legacies (defying the i before e rule, regardless of the proper usage), but the possessive plural of Legacy is still Legacies', just like Legacies without an apostrophe...

On more than one, The Wall Street Journal writes it as treasurys.
Other newspapers use treasuries.
