Attention InsaneAznKid... please read and respond

Post by jnorion »

At the end of June I arranged to buy an AC compressor from Eric (Insaneaznkid). On July 1st, I mailed a postal money order to his house because he said he didn't have paypal. On July 7th he PMed me to say he had received my payment and would ship it the following Monday. After hearing nothing for a week, I asked what was going on, and he said he was out of town but his dad was going to be shipping it that week. A few days later (now July 18) he said he got back into town and discovered that he had written the wrong address and the part had been returned to him, he apologized a lot, and asked for my address again. I responded that night, and he thanked me within a few minutes for my understanding.

I have heard nothing from him since July 18 and never received the part. I have sent him a couple of PMs trying to find out what happened, and they have apparently never been read (still in my outbox). I added him to my AIM list, and even though he shows up online I haven't gotten any response.

I would like my compressor immediately or I would like my $60 back. This has dragged on WAY too long. Does anyone know how to get in contact with him to help me resolve this?

Now I'm glad I didn't buy one of his under-seat OE subs...

He's a good guy, IMO, I'm guessing totally forgetful though. Good luck.

I'm not even really angry about the whole thing at this point, I just want something resolved. I'm tired of waiting for it to show up... I have leather seats and I drive 80-100 miles per day in traffic and I've been miserable without AC. The heat is not entirely over and I just want this fixed.

Best of luck. You're not the first one to have trouble with him.

Quick update on the slight chance it makes any difference. I just received a new compressor from 206er. Now I just want my money back.

Do you have this number? cell phone 1-402-210-6772 ? I found this in an old PM from him. I was going to pickup a Borla header from him last year. Plans changed and I didn't end up driving through Omaha, never heard from him again.

I don't hear of many problems with Blackbart. He was pretty helpful when I dealt with him.
