Post by 91wag »

does anybody know of a place to get a 1st/2nd gear shift fork i went to a couple local places that couldnt get it and the dealer in my area would have to special order it and cost $57+tax. I thought someone on here would know of a place to find them cheap online but if not then ill just go to the dealer. oh yeah 91 legacy wagon non-turbo 5spd. thanks.

$57 + tax is cheap. Get it from the dealer.

Make sure you get the right one. There are 3 different part numbers based on the offset of the fork. There is one in the middle, one offset towards 1st gear, and one offset away from 1st gear.

57 bucks? Damn. Every time I have to go to the dealer I end up spending hundreds of dollars.

ya i thought i saw someone say they got one for 30 bucs somewhere online a few months back, but 30 more bucs isnt a big deal i got it on order and they had to look at the broken fork to get a number off of it so i get the right one.
