Is it true? turbo wagon struts != regular wagon struts

Struts, spring, anti-rollbars, braces and the like.

Is it true? turbo wagon struts != regular wagon struts

Post by Fishy »

There's a guy down the way who has done loads of work on legacys. I was chatting him up one day about maybe sticking outback struts in the old girl to perk her up a bit and he said the turbo was the lowest of the 3 legacy types and that even 'regular' wagon struts would be a bit higher than turbo wagon ones. :? (especially 13 year old worn out ones)

Any thoughts on that?

Struts should be identical, springs are different.

KYB part numbers were the same for my 93 wagon as they were for any other, and the same for the GC8 as well.

So does that make turbo springs lower or just stiffer maybe?

They're stiffer, and might lower slightly.
