the new tranny seemed to be fine, but now it is torque binding again and flashing a duty c code at me.
I can't win with this thing lately.
any thoughts?

where did you get this latest tranny from? Make a phone call and see if they will give you small partial refund.
Does it have good shifts? if so, then keep that one in and just rebuild the center diff.

I got it from legacymax, but I don't think that the tranns is bad. I think it maybe something else thats causing this (just don't know what).
I'm debating taking it to subaru and having them look at it, but I fear they are going to say that the duty c solenoid is bad (hell maybe it is) and charge me a bunch to replace it, only to have it be something else.
maybe the tcu is bad? do they go bad?
