i have a 97 LGT and i want to start upgrading it but i hear that theres no point with the ej25 and that i should swap for the ej20t wanted to see what yall think and where the hell can i get a ej20t with trannie wireing harness and all those goodies

It all depends on who you ask. My daily driver is a 230chp Ej25 powered Impreza. This car will never see a turbo on it. It would cost you about the same as a WRX swap to replicate my power levels. Of course, with another $1500-2000 the WRX swap can be taken up another 80chp or so. Ultimately, it's a very personal choice...
