S-AFC Wiring

Post by 91White-T »

I was lookin at gettin an Apex-i S-AFC, but the wiring manual doesn't list a diagram for a 89-93 BC EJ22T, only for the EJ20G ... Does anyone know if the ECU harnesses are the same for the EJ20 and 22?

All BC/BF ECU harnesses are almost the same. Small differences exist when they have to (like to accomodate 4-channel vs. 2-channel ignitions, or for the air/water intercooler, or for boost control), and the cam and crank sensors are switched for turbo and non-turbo models, but I don't think any of that matters for the S-AFC.

You could compare the wiring guide's suggestions for the EJ20G with the EJ22T pinouts:

And see if they make sense.

Hmmm... It looks like all the stuff the AFC uses is the same. Now to find a good deal on one...
