hi all. ive got a 92ss with air shocks. was this an extra option from the dealer ship?

my suspention control unit is not working for it so i dont know what they do.

If you have an SS, then it should not have had air shocks. That only came on LS/LSi wagons.

You can switch over to regular suspension and ditch the whole air suspension system altogether. As I've said before, it's a problematic system that's doomed to fail right from the beginning.

ya ya i messed up spelling it.... :roll:

ive got a switch on the side of my dash that has a red light above it.
it says shock on/off.

That's something else. The air ride had a height-control switch. It would be to the right of the steering column.

If your car is turbo, I'm 100% sure you don't have it.

IIRC, the shock on/off switch is for the optional security system. that should turn on and off the shock sensor.......
