Lowering a '02 Legacy Wagon GT properly, HELP!

Post by youngdj95 »

This is for anyone who can help me. I would like to lower my car and have purchased a number of springs but they do not fit my car properly. I have an Eibach Pro Kit and tried to install them but my front springs are cylinder shaped, not cone-shaped that the manufa. keeps sending me. They assure me they are the correct springs for my car. Yet, they do not fit the mounts properly. How do I lower my car? Is there a trick or do I have to use a different shock/strut assembly? Thank you

You probably need to switch to the older Impreza/Legacy front top hats. Head over to NASIOC and hit up the Legacy forum. This is a common problem for those lowering the BE/BH, and it's a pretty simple solution once you know what's needed.
