Hey so i recently had a CEL come on for 2 min and turn off with no noticable direct effect on operation. Pulled a 24 and a 32. Im running no cats so the 32 is on and off when it feels like it with or without the mech. fix.
My concern is the #24 IAC code. This is the first time its thrown it, it idles fine, and it clicks away in test mode. I have been having big problems trying to raise boost above wastegate pressure but i dont think its related to this.
What would my symptoms be of a sticky/failing unit?
Is there any good way to determine if the unit needs to be replaced? Also if i remove the solenoid off the top of the unit do i need to be aware of alignment like a TPS?

I'd just clear the codes and watch if it comes back.
If you do pull the magnetic portion off, you should mark it, so you can put it back the same way.
