Post by Subleg4 »

On my car right now I have 205/50/16 Toyo Proxies FZ4, ive been satisfied with them cause they are fairly inexpensive and hold good, but im more of a turning kinda guy as opposed to straight line racing, what do u guys have on your cars, and could u give me some good tires that u know stick well for mountian runs ans stuff likewise, thanks

how much you want to spend? You looking for purely a summer tire, or all year round?

The tires that have been spoken highly of around here have been the kuma ecsta 712's and the Yokohama AVS ES100. For your current size the Yokohamas are like 77 bucks on tirerack. They have better ratings than the Kuma's also.

yeah I'd recommend the yoka's over the 712's.

I've been pretty happy with the goodyear gs-d3's I have. They're goin to be more expensive, but I have been thoroughly impressed with their road sticking ability. I've had them on the car for almost a year now.

I've heard rally good things about the Falken Azenis from some of the autocross guys around here. I'm going to try a set on my street wheels when I get them.

The previous mentioned tires are all great.

Just to throw something new in, the best all seasons I have used are Dunlop SP Sport A2.
