Do wrx top hats work...

I know wrx suspension swaps have been kicked around a ton on this forum, and thats great Ive gotten most of the info I could ask for. But theres 1 thing I havent. I dont want to spend $200 on Group N top hats, and through all searching everybody has said that stock top hats work with the wrx stuff. I dont want to reuse stockers, as they are old and beat. So do wrx top hats work on an 1994 AWD? 02-03 wrx hats...

Up front they're all the same but in the rear the bolt pattern is different. Depending on the year of the WRX stuff there are Legacy tops and perches that will work.
