um, I've owned a few of those and it hurts my heart to see a bunch of drunk kids taping the complete destruction of one.

Yeah, I couldn't even do that to mine before I junked it. Too disrespectful.

I liked the second jump. Reminded me of Knight Rider. Sort of.

It's unfortunate that only applies to automobiles.

Did anyone else notice at the end that it started back up after all that abuse...? That was quite a rigorous series of Subaru tests, I must say. It hurt to see the GL damaged and abused like that but since they caught it on video at least they did get some amusing footage :)

I would never be able to bring myself to do that to a Subaru. An old CRX on the other hand...

Somehow, to me, that justifies everything they did to it...

As you should when something becomes so obsolete and useless :-D

And to add to you guys that feel pain, its just a car, and not the most unique car either.

I say the same thing about people, but usually get responses related to fear for it. I find that to fit into society and not be hated, I keep comments like that to myself.

I don't really take into account how old or unique a car is...

I beat on my GL Turbo because:

1) it was free

2) it has 255,000 miles on it

3) it was free

4) it's a sponsored rallycross car, so beating kinda comes with the territory

I suppose someone could call my 1992 Sport Sedan old and obsolete, but it is rare (factory 5 speed, unwrecked, no rust) and I love it to death...and the EJ series motors are about 45000 lightyears better than the EA...
