some troubles

Post by gt2.5turbo »

SO i drove over to my friends house this morning and there didnt seem to be anything noticably wrong with my car i was taking it easy cause it was still cold. I leave my friends house about 30mins later and i cant accel hardly at all the cutch just slips. I have an exedy stage 1 with plenty of life left in it and i dont think that it is the problem cause it was grabbing like a champ last night and i havent noticed any slipping ever before today. I'm afraid it my be the rear main seal leaking some oil onto the contact surfaces... this happen to anyone before? anything else it could be?

thanks for the help

stick your head directly over the rear bellhousing, in the area of the igniter. Take a good long sniff with your nose down close. If your clutch smells burned, then thats probably it. Sniff for free.......btw how many miles are on that clutch.
