I have for sale a used front 4 pot set.
Has all the pins and clips and I will even give you the half used pads.

They are a direct bolt on
but you will need to get WRX rotors

do these fit under wrx 16" (5spoke or 6spoke)?

Sadly, you need the RS wheels( 16x7) or 17's on these.

like the 01 rs 6spoke ones? 16x7?
or do the 98 rs gold 5spoke 16x7 wheels fit too?

No, those are the bolt holes for the bolts that hold the two halves together. The bolts are on the other side.
