You are thinking about going backwards. The superior flow of the Ej25 heads cannot be surpassed by the increase in compression the EJ22 heads provide. It's like putting a restrictor plate on a NASCAR vehicle.

IF one has an Ej22 powered car, and Ej25 bottom end is an upgrade. IF one has an Ej25 powered car, putting Ej22 heads on it is just plain stupid.

Read that thread twice before you ask any questions about my car. There's some confusing stuff there in the middle, but if you pay attention, it will make sense. And pay close attention to what I am using for EM.

Lastly, if one is serious about making power, they don't buy those piece of crap Borla headers. Real EL headers make twice the power the Borla headers make....
