I BLEW MY TRANNY!!!! turbo auto suck for performence... it was a rebilt turbo auto with 7k on it when i bought it. i think i blew the pump in the tranny.
so its time for the n/a 5mt swap. anyone have parts i could get for free that would help with the swap?
what does the tranny do? any gears, reverse, etc? does it go into gear and then slip, or no gears at all? Could be you broke the flexplate, which is a relativley easy fix.

i can use one from a n/a auto tranny?
can they hold the power?
i haven't been able to get around to workin on my car during these week days.
i just got a call from my friend saying that they want that car out of his yard. and im like wtf. so now i have to get a tow truck or call another one of my friends to see if they'll tow it . i called a good friend of mine to see if i can use his garage just for the weekend and he says ok. but just for the weekend. sigh, times like theses it really show's who your true friends really are. im planing on geting this project done this weekend. hopefully i will. and if not, shit ill just work on the thing in the street!
i went to the u-pull it in damascu's, and they where closed. 26 mile drive from my house. so off out there again tomarow.

drive shaft
1 front axle
totaling cost $207. tomarow we're going back out there to get the rear diffarental, flywheel and clutch assembely. then we're going to start tearing my car down. ill post pic's tomarow of my progress.
im haveing truble figureing out how to post pic's.
but any who, i toke off my car so far: whole exhaust, intake pipes. now im working on geting the brackets off that are holeing the rear part of the drive shaft off. then im taking off the driveshaft, front axles, then tranny, then rear differental.

we finally got the auto tranny out yesterday, but it toke a while because i didnt know you had to take the starter out.
i got the flywheel on and the clutch. now we're trying to get the manuel tranny on. its very hard, because we only have 2 little floor jacks and its not exsacly light eather.
i was thinking on going to the store to buy a engine lift.
anyone have any suggestions? tips?
we went to a tool rental place and rented a very big transmission jack. got the tranny in but its on there crucked so tomarow we're going to try and strightin it out. i removed the rear diff also and tomarow im puting in the 4.11, driveshaft, front axles, mount up the shifter, then the pedals.
tomarows going to be a big day as normal. i really ne to figer out this pic' thing.

keep us posted, my biggest concern is the pedals and all the neccessary items that go along with that.
the pedals are pretty easy, its just a really small space to work in. i removed my Auto tranny computer it get them in . they are on one bracket and it held in by 2 bolts and 4 nuts.
yesterday i got the tranny stright and i got the pedals in and the clutch cable on and ajusted. i also did a little wiring in the engine bay.
now im haveing a hard time geting the front axles in because i just unbolted and popped the lower ball joint out to get the axle out from the auto.
sucks!
