I know there will be some issues, but I bet I can make them work, especially since they come with the top hats.
I have a welder.....

Well, they are actually 03 wrx struts.
The fronts bolt right in.
The rears?
Not even close. And even getting different tophats wouldnt do squat.
Why? Because the actual outside diameter of the spring is BIG. It doesnt taper at all. Must be a sedan thing.
So instead I put some whiteline "Flatout" springs in. I used the 90-91 tophats which are too small, and the spring slips around. But it works for now until I can get to a junkyard and snag some new 93-94 tophats.
But how does it look/drive/ride?
Its slammed about 2 to 2.5" front and back. I have 2 fingers in the front and 0 fingers in the back. But even though the fender wells are different, the rear doesnt look like its sagging. Although I may modify some Whiteline front springs and drop the front the addtional 1-2 inches.....
It drives and rides really nice, but I am not going to push it until I get the proper rear tophats.

The straight spring isn't a sedan thing, it's a 02-03 Impreza thing. The 04+ have the tapered springs.douglas vincent wrote: The rears?

Any pictures? Too low is bad for handling. For one you'll be really close to the bumpstops, and for the other camber goes less negative after about 2" of compression. Lower the car that much, and you're losing neg. camber in turns, and you only have 2" of travel left.

Handling is "fine" at this point. But I havent pushed it yet.
But DAMN I have to slow down for speed bumps. I used to hit them at 40 mph. Then I did that about an hour ago. OUCH!!!!!!!! Jesus on a cracker, i thought my front end had exploded!
I have to hit them at 25 mph now, slower than the damn speed limit!
