Times/dyno's on stock turbo's
What do people see with the stock turbo? I know you can pick up some pretty good times with the VF39 and a meth kit. Mike at innovative tuning believes that he can run 12's with a little bit of juice on top of it.
What have other people done? I am looking to maybe spray, but most likely just use a combination of 12 psi on a VF39 so that I can keep it with stock fuel control, and not use a meth kit. That should be able to get me at least deep into the 14's, but i'd imagine high 13's.
What have you all been getting for times/dyno's?

Wow that stock dyno is considerably higher than the factory 160 crank hp rating would suggest.
And Mark...you're goin down buddy.
I don't care if I have to put a third meth nozzle on the beater to make it happen. LOL
I'm still waiting on a 6 puck disk and a new throw out bearing so it looks like I'm going to miss taking the beater to the strip this season.

Not exactly stock.... 190 whp and 200 torque
But DOHC heads, 550 sti injectors and 11-12 psi. Have since tuned it a little better, probably gained about 5-10 hp over the entire curve, but no proof.

Reddevil, Awaiting new heart, will it ever happen?

Doug runs an M62 off a Mercedes. I've got an M90 sitting five feet from me right now.

I would run an M90 in a second. IFFFFFFFFF I could get the M62 clutch setup hooked up to it. The nose of the M90 is way long.
It would give me 25% more airflow. So instead of 12 psi, it would be 15-17 psi!

The parasitic loss is dependant upon the power its pushing.....
I am definatlely losing some power due to parasitic loss, but I doubt as much as a 4.4 liter motor..... ie, its dependant upon the motor itself...
