Muffler is Bosal Brospeed S.S. right out of the Subaru Parts Dept.
it's made for the old Impreza 2.5RS
Steel skid plate is off an old '97 Outback
and the Rear Diff. protector is from an Impreza
Subarus are kinda like Legos :)

Nice. I'd like some underbody protection. The primitive racing parts aren't too much, but it'd be cool to just pull that outback part in a junkyard.

I'm looking at getting pretty much the same setup. 2.25 custom piping, one cat, and something like a magnaflow muffler.

How do you like the sound, and do you get a cel?

I was thinking the cat should be a little closer to the manifold than that, but it'd require a lot more fabrication to do that.

You mention that a picture is worth 1000 words. This prompts the observation that one word is worth 1/1000th of a picture.

In which case, a standard of feminine beauty can be derived.

Greek mythology records that Helen of Troy was so beautiful that her's "Was the face that was so beautiful that it launched a 1000 ships". She provoked a massive sea-battle.

Thus, we have the basic unit of measure which is the "Helen"-- beauty sufficient to launch just one ship.--- :-)

The proceeding post made me crack up
I should have mentioned that I've NEVER had a CEL!!!
In addition, I replaced the turbo leg mid-pipe I got from Matt Monson
with a larger dia. custom fabbed mid-pipe
As far as the 'sound' goes it sounds unlike any Subie I've heard
at low RPM it sounds 'wierd' but at mid to upper RPMs it sounds
Badass  Power is amazing especially for a 240,000 mile
Leggy
Finally, I should mention that I even passed the E test with flying colors!

nice setup suixbe, that header is sweet.
for those interested in a really cheap skidplate, an ea82 stock one with extra holes drilled will work.

or search ebay for the OBX header. Good quality knock-off at a fraction of the price (and what I'll be buying).

So the Cobb header will in fact work with the ej22?

Also, that transmission doesn't look like it was the one from the factory. Is it only the older 4eat that has a slightly offset front diff in the transmission?
