We all take a vacation to england and defintately aus and new zealand. When we get there, we visit every junkyard there and start ganking a whole mess of parts. Afterwhich we take them back with us and have ourselves a fieldday with putting the good lookin stuff on :D Who's with me?

it'd probably be cheaper just to have a nz car shipped to the us.

Could save a whole bunch of money staying with members that already live there ;) Who wants to put up all us yanks for a few days?

Ah well, a man can dream can't he

1000 bucks for five days in the UK? That's a lot. I think we could do it for less. :)

I went to Greece and Egypt for a little over $2K. I'm sure UK would be a lot cheaper.

England? Why? If I'm gonna travel across the world to get Subaru parts, I'm heading to the Land of the Rising Sun, baby!

Before I die, I will go to Japan. I wanna see STi Type R's running around like Ford Tauruses...

Hmmm... okay, here's the plan. I'm going to Australia in a little over a year. Everyone send me a shopping list around the time of my departure, and I'll spend a few days yarding. :)

Don't want to rain on the parade but (a) you'll NEVER get a hotel room in London for $30 a night (more like $65 for a Travelodge which is BASIC!! ) and (b) you'll be lucky to find any sort of worthwhile Subaru parts. Anyway, we want them all. :D

I think a trip to the land of the Rising Sun is the answer. Biggest cost will probably be a translator! I'll be up for it in about 5 years when I've saved up the cash!!

I think New Zealand....and maybe Australia too...but definately NZ...it seems like thats the english speaking country thats where all the old/used japanese cars go to retire. Good exchange rates...expensive flights...don't know about shipping. From australia isn't as bad as I thought...hopefully NZ is the same. Maybe if we got enough people/cash toghether, we could get a shipping container sent...

We already have board members in any country that has sweet stuff (except Japan). Why not have them round up some stuff and split the shipping on a crate over here?

Unless someone wants to fly over there for the heck of it...
