That is freakin sick! Even if you don't like volvos, the custom work is extremely nice!

I am, but I'm a fan of REAL Volvos. Ones that make the same power from the original engines.

It's best to let the Swedes, who originally built it, to be the ones to accomplish it, plus they can drive better :)

I do like the idea of putting the vette engine in the wagon, but DAMN, the 2nd video is way more impressive...

Ok, it's an 8 second car. lol!~~

Yeah, 2nd video is cooler, but they're both pretty nuts.

Both cars are badass but I'm definitely more impressed with the Swedish guy's driving.

built B230ft's and such are cool, but throw a set of penta valve covers on your SBC swap and tell everyone its an uber rare volvo v8. :P

Ive ridden in 2 different 5.0 swaps, a 242 and 745 and have driven a 242 turbo and a modded 760 turbo, the 760 pretty extensively. believe me the swaps are much funner. volvo=crappy k-jet, glass transmissions, premium gas, expensive parts, peaky powerband, etc. v8 swap=regular gas maybe, dirt cheap parts, strong transmissions, flat torque curve, mild tune, crazy huge aftermarket. a reliable, driveable 500hp out of a junkyard turbo setup on a sbc is cake. a B23, youre looking at a really serious, peaky, expensive build. which is cool too, in a different way.

I pretty sure that is an airesearch turbo, T3 I believe. It could be a subie application with far too much modification for my liking, you see, the flanges are all wrong. There are easier turbo's to transplant.

Plus, that turbo's way smaller than anything ever put in a Subaru, well, don't quote me on that. :-D
