Hertz Rental Car will rent a C6 Corvette Convertible?

Did you also know that the C6 doesn't have crap for ground clearance?

My boss and I were in Florida for the PRI trade show, and rented the Vette. It was surprisingly cool.

It was an auto, but even still it would break the tires free from a 30 or 40mph roll.

I've got a few pictures that I may post. That car got DIRTY from the dirt-turned-mud parking lot!

my company makes the machine that grinds the gears to the correct size to fit in the assembly for that 6 speed automatic transmission built in detroit. Thats where I have spent a large portion of my life the past 2 years. P.S. I hate GM and their cars and the UAW

$250 a day. We rented one for 3 days. It was totally badass. I've never jumped a Corvette before.

We work with an australian company (Pfitzner Performance Gearbox) that makes aftermarket gears for lots of cars, including the Tremec T56 box (a 4 gear helical dogbox, and a 6 gear straight cut dogbox). The straight cut box has been tested to over 1500whp and 1490lb-ft in a Skyline GTR. AWD launches on Slicks definately puts a gearset through it's paces.

There was an australian company down the row from us who made a bunch of stuff, including an individual throttle bodied intake manifold for the LS1/LS2. We were trying to get him to let us bolt one onto our rental vette all week. No dice though, he didn't have a working model on display.

We raced the Hertz Shelby GT-H that someone at our hotel rented. What a pile. Didn't have nothin on the Vette.
