That question is tough to answer. Are you planning on running up the boost right away? If so, I'd put the intercooler in first. I actually bought my intercooler first, but didn't install it until I had my turbo to match as well. The intercooling to turbo plumbing was different from the stock and aftermarket turbo, so I decided to not do the plumbing twice. I just waited till I had everything. Also, plumbing the stock turbo with a wrx top mount or an AWIC is probably not too difficult, but it did look annoying to me.

I did what Ryan did....waited to plumb up the IC until I got the new turbo since the compressor outlet orientation was different.

Dynamic: Looking forward to hearing your review. I hope the instal goes well and you don't have any of the rubbing issues I've been hearing about. If you do encounter fit issues, you might consider replacing the old, worn motor mounts. Old motor mounts may cause the engine to sag and move excessively, particularly when accelerating and shifting (anyone else had experience with this?). Please contact me with any questions you might have. -Jon

Just put another Legacy turbo-back system up on EBAY. Identical to the previous system bought by DYNAMIC.

Will do Dubrex. I am still waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I won't be able to tackle the install until next week because of holiday stuff but I am also hoping that it goes on smooth :D

Oh! This is the race version, it finally dawned on me that that means you didn't get a resonator in the midpipe. I have rubbing issues still with the midpipe's resonator and the driveshaft. I think it is because of the shortened distance in the cat I have verses the test pipe. I had a metal cat custom fitted to some pipe that was as long as the test pipe, but it is slightly too short.

Ryan,

I ran in the rain last weekend, and I need to check the underside of the driveshaft to check if the spacer I put in fixed the issue.

Do you have rubbing issues all the time?
