First post, and a pic

Right now this is the only decent pic I have at the moment, not that theres much to look at on it heh. A bit about my car here: its pretty much stock, and anything I have done im not totally happy about. It's my first car. had it since i started driving, and I've learnd along the way whats not cool. I at one time tried to make a cold air intake using some flexible ABS pipe cuase a friend of mine had done it on his car.....well that didn't work out, and i learned the hard way, measure twice, cut once. A redneck friend of mine said it would be cool to put a Flowmaster 40 series muffler on it,so i did. i tried making clear tailights.....what a disaster. I also took out the back seats and everything, cuase me being the eager person i am, i heard about weight reductions, so i thought it would be cool to try it. I also cheaped out 2 years ago on tires. Sears had Falkens on sale for cheap, but they were slightly smaller then stock, so now i have to do math to figure out how fast I am really going. All this and this car still keeps going. its a good car and eventually i'd like to get another one, and turn this one into a rally car, although i don't quite exactly know what I am doing with that. I live in the hills, so every now and then i go for it, but not to much, to many deer etc. well hopefully this long paragraph is'nt too annoying.

Glad to see someone who's willing to try things out on their car. Welcome to the forum.

Hey welcome. I think what your experiencing is totally normal for alot of us. I think its what every kid does when hes 16 and strapped for cash and gets a first car. I've never taken the seats out of a car but hey. This is a learning curve for you and you have a good reliable car to play with. Try things out and experiment and hone your skills on this car and when you can get a nicer legacy (Because why would you buy anything else? lol) then you'll have more skill and knowledge to do a better job on that one. Welcome again, I remember when I was new on here, I spent hours every night reading all the posts and soaking up information. This is a great community with great people and tons of knowledge. Enjoy!

I'm still trying things 4 years later, but most of what i said was when i was 16. I've been trying to learn more about driving too. My shifting isnt the best, and it doesn't help that ive got 2nd and 4th synchros not doing well.

welcome
im still new here, so all i mostly do is read post after post, and everyonce in a while ill make some post of my own
i havent modified my Legacy to make it any better, but as things break (like seat belts and trim pannels) it has slowly become a hodgepodge of other Legacys that i happen to find in junk yards
sadly its always a wagon i find, so i can never use all the trim, the interior of my car is half tan felt and half black vynl now
