CES on the noise scale?

Post by jefferson »

I was wondering how the CES exhaust was as far as noise goes?Is it on the loud side or more to the mellower side of things? I like the fact that it is made for our cars and it's divorced.

It's noisier than you might think if you are used to the stock noise. Yet, if you have ever had a loud exhaust before, you'll like how mellow it is. It follows a 90 decible noise limit (a limit that is imposed in Australia). If you get it with a resonator, it isn't droning, either. It is very quality sounding and refined, yet burbly and aggressive when you get on it.

I agree with Ryan.

It's not too noisy compared to some other exhausts, but when you get on it, it's got a nice rumble. I've got the resonator, and am very happy with the sound.

Actually, my MRT exhaust on my n/a engine was more droning then the CES is.
