So I finally got myself some driving lights. I like the look of the rounds on a rally going vehicle but I decided that the rectangulars would look better on my Legacy Outback. So I placed an order with RallyLights (who were great btw) for a set of Hella 450's. I mounted them to my roof rack bar and all the wires run inside the bar with the final pigtail coming down the side and through the passenger window. This allows me to take them on and off easily but still provides a solid mount. Without futher adu...

I couldn't be more happy with these. They reach up great and really allow me to see what's ahead on the dark backcountry roads. Another set would be great and really let me stagger them so I could get even more range without a dark spot between my brights and the 450's. But for now these are plenty ample. Running my brights, fogs, and 450's gives me a lot more security and anyone considering if they should get aux. driving lights - you don't know what you're missing :).
