question about struts for 91ss

Post by kills »

I'm kind of a noob when it comes to suspension and I read through the stickies last night but I'm not quite sure what it will all mean.

Anyways, I need new struts on my 91ss, I was going to buy some GR-2s and some whiteline springs for it to begin with. But I was offered a set of GR-2s and Eibachs for cheap from a friend but they are off of a 93 turbo wagon. I'm just not sure whether they will work or not. What are the adverse effects of using this struts/springs? Or should I just stick with buying the right stuff for my year?

The 90-91's had tapered springs, but other then that, you can pretty much swap stuff between the 90-94 legacies as long as you swap the appropriate components over.
